New Aboriginal art on glass splashbacks

9 September 2020

Introducing Aboriginal art glass splashbacks from Port Stephens Images

We are delighted to announce that we are collaborating with Jodie Freeman, an aboriginal artist whose modern stylings is gaining attention from all over.

Jodie is a proud Gamilaroi woman, originally from Narrabri, NSW. Her artwork is a modern style, combining her Aboriginal heritage with her spiritual beliefs. Each piece tells a story and has a heartfelt meaning behind it.

Jodie discovered her passion for dot paintings in her late 20’s, through a mission of self discovery and researching her family history.

"While I’m creating, the dots have quite a meditative effect and I allow this to take over and let my spirit and my ancestors guide my hand, telling stories through my work." Jodie said.

Jodie has exhibited in local galleries on the Central Coast, provided artwork for Hunter New England Health and worked with groups of children through the Sean Lonergan Schools Project to name just a few of her achievements.

Jodie's beautiful artwork will make a stunning addition to a glass splashback or glass feature wall in both residential and commercial spaces.

Keep an eye out for more of Jodie's work in coming weeks - If you'd like to find out more about an aboriginal artwork on glass please let us know.
